1.1 The following general terms and conditions apply to all business relations between fromlithuania.org and its customers, in the version existing at the time of agreement to the contract.
1.2 Terms and conditions which deviate from these general terms and conditions will not be recognised by fromlithuania.org and will not be considered as part of the contract, unless fromlithuania.org has agreed to different terms in writing.

2.1 References and links to external pages are provided for informational purposes only. fromlithuania.org does not endorse the content of linked or referenced external sites. The liability of fromlithuania.org for linked sites is only that which is in accordance with § 17 ECG. Should a linked site contain illegal content, please inform fromlithuania.org and the link will be deleted upon investigation. The production of links to the website of fromlithuania.org is only permitted with the express written consent of fromlithuania.org.
3. Privacy and cookies
3.1 fromlithuania.org undertakes to treat the personal details of the customer in accordance with the privacy protections afforded by law. Customer data is processed for the purposes of contract fulfilment, delivery and accounting. fromlithuania.org reserves the right to other types of data processing within the extent permitted by law.
3.2 Customer data will only be collected, processed, used and passed on to contractual partners for the establishment, execution and fulfilment of contractual obligations and to the extent that is necessary for the further execution of the business relationship between the customer and fromlithuania.org. The customer may object to this use of data in the event of a breach of confidentiality for legitimate specific interests that arise from the particular circumstances of the customer. All agents of fromlithuania.org are required to comply with data privacy laws.
3.3 Personal recommendations are displayed to visitors of fromlithuania.org. These are based on items that visitors to fromlithuania.org have seen, searched for or purchased. This “information” will be stored anonymously in a so-called cookie. The personal details of the visitor, e.g. name, date of birth and address will not be saved in a cookie and a conclusion as to the identity of the visitor is not possible.
3.4 Information about the browsing behaviour of website visitors is collected and stored for marketing purposes, in accordance with the terms and conditions; this is used for statistical analysis of fromlithuania.org site traffic. For this purpose, fromlithuania.org uses the so-called social share buttons and links. These are offerings of the U.S. companies Facebook Inc. (1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA), Twitter Inc.(1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA), Pinterest Inc. (808 Brannan St., San Francisco, CA 94103-4904) and Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). However, when a visitor visits a page on fromlithuania.org, which contains such a plugin, no connection to these companies takes place. This occurs only after explicit consent, which will be requested upon the visitor clicking the corresponding button or link. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Google provide details on their websites regarding the nature, purpose and processing of data.
4.1 The contracting parties are the customer and fromlithuania.org
4.2 The product offers on the fromlithuania.org website provide a non-binding invitation to the customer to order goods. By ordering goods, the customer makes a binding offer for the acquisition of goods. The order can be made by submitting the online form on the fromlithuania.org checkout page and paying for it via PayPal or credit card. The customer’s offer becomes effective when the payment is received at fromlithuania.org. The customer’s order will be confirmed via an order confirmation e-mail, in which all of the order information is presented. This order confirmation constitutes acceptance of the offer at fromlithuania.org.
4.3 fromlithuania.org can accept a payment within 7 working days from order creation by a customer. After this time period an order is automatically rejected if no payment was received.
4.4 After offer acceptance occurs and an order confirmation email is sent, the ordered goods are packaged and sent. The order shipment will be confirmed via a sent order e-mail, in which all of the shipment information is presented. This sent order email constitutes a completed fulfilment of the customer order at fromlithuania.org.
5. Prices, payment and retention of title
5.1 The price stated on the fromlithuania.org website on the day of the order shall be binding. All prices are in United States Dollar (USD) including legally required sales tax and excluding shipping costs. The applicable shipping costs will be charged to the customer unless otherwise agreed.
5.2 fromlithuania.org accepts only the types of payment shown during the ordering process (currently credit card and PayPal).
5.3 Ordered goods remain the property of fromlithuania.org until payment is made in full.
6. Right of withdrawal
6.1 Excluded from the legal right to withdraw from the contract are goods which
6.1.1 are made according to customer specifications,
6.1.2 are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the customer,
6.1.3 are not suitable for a return due to their condition,
6.1.4 can spoil rapidly or whose expiration date has passed, or
6.1.5 newspapers and magazines.
The customer is therefore expressly advised that there is no right to withdrawal for a significant portion of the goods offered by fromlithuania.org.
6.2 In all other cases, a customer who is a consumer as defined by the European Consumer Protection Act may withdraw from a contract concluded via the fromlithuania.org online shop within a period of 14 working days. The withdrawal period begins on the date of receipt of the goods by the customer.
6.3 To meet the deadline, notification of the withdrawal request by e-mail or by telephone to one of the following within this period is sufficient:

6.4 In exercising the right of withdrawal, the customer is required to return the relevant goods at their own expense to fromlithuania.org. Goods should be returned to the address they came from.
6.5 When the returned goods are received at fromlithuania.org, the payment for them is reimbursed within 7 working days, to the same account/card the customer used to pay for the relevant order.
7.1 For the purpose of proper and timely handling, it is recommended that the customer open the received good(s) immediately after delivery to check for completeness and for any damage.
7.2 In the event of a defect covered by warranty, the warranty claims of the customer are governed by the statutory provisions. The statutory warranty period is 24 months from the receipt of goods.
7.3 Claims against fromlithuania.org regarding damage caused by improper storage are not valid. The inadequacy of the claim is to be determined in particular according to the information provided by the manufacturer.
8.1 Claims for damages in cases of slight negligence are excluded. This does not apply to personal injury or damage to goods accepted for further processing and for product liability claims.
8.2 fromlithuania.org provides its services with the utmost of care, but is not liable for damage caused by services provided by or obtained from third parties.
8.3 fromlithuania.org is not the manufacturer of the goods offered on their website. The product packaging and accompanying documents may contain information that goes beyond and/or differs from the product description given on the website of fromlithuania.org. fromlithuania.org therefore recommends not relying solely on the information on its website, but also to always carefully read the labels, warnings and instructions which are provided with the goods, prior to consumption or use of the goods.
9. Final provisions
9.1. All legal transactions and possible legal relationships between the customer and fromlithuania.org are governed exclusively by European law and its provisions and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
9.2 If the customer is an entrepreneur, the materially and locally competent court with exclusive jurisdiction for all claims in connection with the business relationship is that of the official domicile of fromlithuania.org
9.3 If any provision of these Terms and Conditions are invalid or unenforceable or invalid by contract, the validity of the remainder of the General Conditions shall remain unaffected.
